Steve Markoff
Steven C. Markoff is the Co-Chair of A-Mark Entertainment. A native of Los Angeles, Markoff began trading rare coins at age 11, and in 1965 founded A-Mark Financial. By 2004, Forbes Magazine listed A-Mark as the 65th largest privately held company in the U.S., and the 2nd largest in Los Angeles.
In addition to many other business and philanthropic activities, including the chairmanship of ProCon.org, Markoff partially financed the films Stander, No Good Deed, and Asylum. In 2004, Markoff and Bruce McNall along with Nick Cassavettes and Robert Geringer founded AME.
